What is a "maintenance day"?

We want to make it easier for schools to plan when their classes will be using Zon, and for players to trust that Zon will be up when they expect it.

What we never want is for a class to try to log on and get an unexpected maintenance message instead of the game.

So we're going to pick one day when we'll do our maintenance and updates. Most of the time, this will just be a quick server restart to keep things running smoothly. But when we have bigger changes to make, we'll save them for our maintenance day.

Basically, if Zon is going to be down during the week, it will only be on maintenance day.

Not that Zon will be down every maintenance day, of course.

Now, we can't promise Zon will never be offline any other time. If anything catastrophic happens, we'll need to take the servers down immediately, but we'd be working to get them back up as soon as possible.
